A short journey on london overground train from dalston to highbury and islington passing through canonbury. Recording includes ticket barrier noises, doors opening and closing and general announcements. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. A city playground on a quiet autumn day, with kids playing, birds singing, people and trains lazily passing by. Recoded on 19. 10. 2021 with zoom h6 field recorder in miera dārzs, rīga, latvia.

Field recording of a demolition plant in a paris suburb. Demolition waste is beeing sorted and filled in a container. Record with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode. There's a train passing by at the end; since it seemed to fit naturally in the soundscape, i chose not to remove it. . .

My neighbour is working at the second floor. Metal hit, pushing heavy stuff, crackings and vibrations by some human body mass at the old wood floor. In the second plan, we can hear passing a train and some cars. Quiet atmosphere with singular acoustic, like a sunday's work.

Faucet in a metal sink turned on and off. Hands are run through the water to simulate hand washing. Recorded in a tokyo apartment with a coincidental mic pair placed at a 90 degree angles it's basically a raw recording, but i ran an ssl hpf with the cutoff set at about 28 hz to take out the rumble of the train passing by. . . Since the apartment was near the station, the train sound was unavoidable. But if this is used in a larger mix, it probably won't be noticeable.

The sound of thunder rumbling followed by rain. Additional sounds include: an air conditioning unit, wind, birds, a distant train horn, passing cars, the dinging of a flagpole (at 4:05), and cicadas (at 10:54).
